After obtaining his college degree from the University of Colorado in 1995, Matt began at the ground level in the golf industry working for a year in Tucson on the course maintenance crew at Oro Valley Country Club. Beginning in 1996 with a job at the Ventana Canyon Golf Club in Tucson, Matt quickly ascended the professional ranks obtaining his PGA Certification in June of 2001.
